Richie Flores whom is considered by many to be one the most musical and technically proficient players of our time, has now applied the same great attention to quality, detail and perfection found in his drumming to the design and creation of the “Richie Flores Signature Series” drums.
The sound is the foundation and core of its essence and is built upon years and years of Richie’s playing experience of live performances and countless recording sessions. Great consideration was taken to produce the most authentic traditional sound sought after by so many and that can only be achieved from drums constructed of the finest Thai Oak Wood in existence today.
The Conga Series consists of four drums consisting of a ReQuinto, Quinto, Conga, and Tumba. The smaller 10” ReQuinto provides an extended higher tuning range making it ideal for “Solo” playing or colorful background accompanying and remains exclusive to this series. All drums feature contour crowns for added playing comfort and Hand-Selected Buffalo heads to provide a wider tuning range with increased resonance and deep full-bodied tone. Plus the Polished steel hardware offers years of durability and use even under the most demanding playing conditions or styles. Each drum includes mounting brackets for quick and easy attachment to our “Q.R.S.” Series stand or may be used with the included carrying handle attachment.
The PBW-300DXRF 7” and 9” Bongo drums share many of the same features including Contour Crowns and Hand-Selected Buffalo heads optimum sound and playing comfort. A perfect match for those wanting the complete “Richie” set or fine high-end Bongo drums.
One look at these drums and it’s easy to see they are extraordinarily beautiful and stunning suitable for any concert stage or setting. In collaboration with his wife Jennifer Delgado, the #525 Tilo Green Finish was designed using a Caribbean Lime Base with each drum accented by hand-applied ancient Aztec, Inca, and Mayan Symbols to signify positive meanings with no two drums being exactly alike. And as in the spirit of Richie, it is felt that these vibes will transcend from your hands to your audience when playing the drums!
All drums are offered as separate components to give you the flexibility of customizing your own configuration.
