The Mini Shakerine (PSR-01) and Mini-Ganzeiro (PGR-01) combine a shaker/ganza type sound with a Tambourine jingle sound. What makes these so unique is both sounds can be played independently or together by simply varying the technique. This exclusive and first instrument of it's kind, was developed by the leading world percussionist Bart Fermie, who is one of the most "In Demand" studio players in the European music scene. The PSR-01 Mini-Shakerine is a small square Ganza with a set of Tambourine jingles that offers a higher pitched shaker sound with jingles that are well matched for a smooth coherent blend of sounds. The PGR-01 Mini-Ganzeiro is larger full-bodied shaker with drier Brazilian style jingles. One listen to ether of these instruments and you are instantly transported to "Carnival" in Brazil! Both offer just the right addition to your sound pallet.
And just as a side note, check out their sibling PSR-03 Shakerine, it features a full size wooden Tambourine with a Ganza handle that also can be played in a similar manor independently or simultaneously providing a rich sound suitable for many modern applications.
