Nope, not those this year.
OP, to answer your question, Pearl is field testing a prototype low cost harness for sale as an alternative to the Randall May carriers. Pearl is still affiliated with Randall May, the harness design that they are testing is just as a low cost alternative to the RM products in the event that a person/school/group/etc cannot afford the RM products.

Thanks intensity.
They look cool, just wasn't sure, cause some of the vids are blurry....I actually kind of prefer the look of them to the RM stuff.
Anyone seen them up close or have a pic of them?
I'm very interested.

Blue Knights are using them too... probably other drum corps too. I heard Randall May and Pearl are parting ways but that doesn't really matter. But then I also heard they are just trying to make a cheaper line of carriers as an option. They do have new carriers and they are weird... lol... and they are a work in progress. I have an old student of mine marching Vanguard this year. I talked to him about them briefly at Standford. He says they are extremely light but they have had to make some adjustments to them. Like the padding on the shoulders and little odd and end stuff.
I also took the time to look closely at the tenors. The tenor rail looks like a cross between XL material (flat plates) but the shape of the new Randall May Bi-posto Yamaha rail the way it sits high on the sets to lower the drum level with out lowering the j-bars, if that makes sense (my discription). They were still using the Randall May swivel spacers. Overall... still looked very solid.
I am attaching a picture of an SCV drum so you can see the attachment on the back and the top part of the carrier.

Interesting, I'm not sure comfortable it would be, though.
I'd like to try them on, though.

don't know if you mean the snare or tenor j-bars... but I don't know on either one.

there is a close up of SCV's backbar.. looks like its pretty adjustable for close in, as they have it or far to add the 6 8 combo as BK uses.. I like this way better then RM's tube bar.

snare with carrier..
Over all I like the attachments, I think they look strong and sturdy.. I can tell the carriers still need some work.. I don't like the straps on the bass harness.. a hook mount would be better... I think I would switch my line to these over the RM tube carriers which are a pain in the butt to put together..
