There are pairs of these going for a special price of €299 down from €450 or so.
Opinions?
Im getting my recording setup soon and I wasnt thinking of getting monitors but these seem rather good for the price.

And I dont know the speaker sizes of the special offer speakers Im afraid.

don't know the speaker size? look for the only number in the name. ;)
i think that 8" is too big for home studios unless you have the room for it. you'd have to be sitting pretty far away.... i would say maybe a 5" or 6" would be better for near-field monitoring at home. don't go 4".

Ahh didnt see that. I was under the impression that the BX5a were a lower model like Forums are to the Exports.
Interesting point anyway. I will have to have a think of about this.

I have the M-audio BX5a and for my home studio they are fine.

I would recommend Tannoy's over everything... very linear.

I absolutely love my BX8as. Can't recommend them enough.
