well mate if you try it out playnig a metal of prog rock groove you will soon find out.. but id say it would bu fine for those genres..

Yeah, and it has 2-set of SnareWires...with that comes a more flexibility/adjustability, so it is probably suitable for many genres

The Wekl Alum custom snare by Yamaha may siut you better for that music! It also has two strainers and is a great drum!
