I have a RM-MVTQ-DH magvest tube carrier for my marching quads. I have purchased a Pearl Championship 6x8 marching tom and wish to attach it to my carrier. It looks as if the RMT6DM attachment bracket is the way to go BUT how does my drum attach to the attachment bracket. The parts breakdown drawing shows me where to put the bracket but not how to attach the drum. Sorry if this seems simple to some, I am an old tuba player who now has an entire marching band to worry about. Thanks in advance. :D

Setting up a Quad to a Quint is quite easy to do- the drum should already be drilled for set up, but will have two (2) sides for drilling. Their is a part that comes with the RMMVTQHD called the RMT6DM already- http://www.pearldrum.com/documents/RM-MVTQ-DH.pdf

The only problem you will have is the angle of the cut on the 8" drum. Pearl does not offer an 8" spock drum. (only as a drum 1 version) This is something we are looking into for the future. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
