You know, they were jipped in '06 when the Cavaliers beat them, but this makes up for that loss. I have never seen a performance like that before, it was epic.

I was there. I was wayyyyyyyy out towards the right endzone. I got out as soon as BD finished though, so I could get back to my hotel. I just got on DCI's website and saw the scores.

Crazy, row 50 on the far right here. I'm waiting for PR's encore performance now. My friend marching contra is probably in tears right now, I'm so happy for them

That's cool, I'm glad you're friend got to experience this. Me on the other hand, will have to wait to tryout again this year for a corps, since i didn't make the final cut for Bluecoats. Oh well, you try and try again. I'm just glad Phantom won, they derserved a victory like this.

I really Cavaliers to win. Me and some kids from my line came and just watched lot stuff. I didn't see much of PR, but they were amazingly clean, same as the Blue Devils. I liked the Cavies book stuff more than anyone elses. The Madison Scouts line was really awesome. Same for SCV, their center snare was amazing. And while watching the BD, the tenors broke some heads and threw them away, so we went into the trash and picked them up :D And then we got them autograped by Scott Johnson. And I got some sticks autograped by Vic Firth. It was a great experience. Congrats to PR.

I really thought the Cavies were going to take it. PR's line was cleaner but I loved Samurai. I got some awesome videos of in the lot stuff though, maybe Ill post links when I get them online. Meeting Vic Firth and Scojo was the coolest thing I've ever done.

I heard VF was there but I was on the other side so I didn't get any autographs or anything. I knew PR's line would take it, but I figured the judges would leave the rankings as they were with BD on top.
Who dug the BlueCoat's show? I LOVED the part where the basses played the speed bag. Pretty freakin' awesome.
Great job to the Scouts for coming back to the finals, and I dug the new uniforms, I just hope they'll stick with them. The boy scouts looked like men with the ties.
Ahh jeez, too much commentary for just my phone. Full comments when I get home Monday.

The Scouts were amazing. I wasn't expecting much from them, but I thought they did better in the lot than the Glassmen, Blue Coats, and the Blue Stars.

I'm on my phone so I can't zoom in on those pictures, but I think you guys both have pictures of my pals (the Coats and Cavs). Well done!! Those two lines were sweet this year.

I didn't see much of the Cavies this year, but the Coats were pretty clean. The whole Coats show was my favorite from what I saw.

I'm just happy BD DIDN'T win. They didn't deserve it. Phantom did...and I'm not even that big of a phantom fan. This is the first Phantom show I've liked in a long time lol.
Crown was SO good this year. Dang. I loved them. Coats too....good stuff. I was highly disappointed with the Cadets...and I loved SCV as always.:)

The Clair de Lune part was probably my favorite in drum corps. history. That is my absolute favorite classical piece and it was nice to hear it in a pure form, uncorrupted, and at a piano volume instead of blasting major chords.
