Has anyone seen the show? Being stuck in Iraq with no access to youtube etc, I have no clue how the show is this year? Anybody? (this is the hint to send me files of the show *wink*)

Hey Thud, I just got a new digital camera so I'm not sure how the movie function works, but I will try to record some of the Bones line in the lot on Friday (hopefully Saturday too). Obviously I can't record their whole show, but I'll try to send you some vids from the lot.

I was at the Eastern Classic this past weekend in Allentown, PA as my first event. Not knowing the finer points of these types of events, I would say Crossmen did a better job than their 6th place finish. I probably would have put them in 4th place. I also thought Pacific Crest had a much better show than their 9th place, but it was clearly a night for Phantom Regiment to shine with their "Spartacus" show!

I'm really bummed that I missed an ENTIRE season... I will definately make up for it next summer. I have yet to see ONE show (even on the net!)

The scores are def. getting better though. Last night in Canton BD scored a 96 for first and the Coats and SCV tied with 92.35 for second, with Boston in 4th with something a little lower, I forget what exactly. Really though, I respect all the corps for what they do. Every show was really good I thought.

I saw all the corps in San Antonio and the Crossmen are for real this year. If they stay in the top 12 it will mean holding off the surging Madison Scouts. I'd like to see both corps in the top 12 but I'm betting it will be one or the other. Either way it's cool to see former top 12 corps get back in the game!

Yea, it wasn't meant to be taken tooooo seriously ;) I'm just harboring some old resentment from almost 2 decades ago. :p

For the record, I love every drum corps with all my heart. (for real. no sarcasm) They all bring something totally unique to the table, and I can honestly say that there insn't one corps that I genuinely dislike.

Well, I genuinely dislike Bones anyway... :)

The closest to disliking I get is Cadets with their current microphone frenzy. Shut up and play guys, you're awesome musicians, but if I wanted a choir concert I could watch a PBS special.

The Crossmen have come up with a really cool fund raiser this year. They are selling their own brand of wine! Check it out on their website. I bought a case for my Sister and Mom and they said it was decent.
