Going from 6 to 5 (Heavy Hitter Pad)

My old high school uses 6 drums, but my new college uses 5. Can I peel the spock pads off my heavy hitter and then reapply one in the center? Will I need glue to ensure it stays on, or what?

I'm sure it'd work... You'd just have to get some really strong glue and seal it down TIGHT! lol :)

I think what I was really asking is whether it will peel up cleanly or not. Didn't really say that in my original question.

They definitely don't peel off... but by now, I assume you know that. haha almost 2 months later

Haha! yeah, thanks anyway. I'm actually not doing marching band anyway so it's a moot point. I'll probably try to sell my tenor pad to someone from my old high school.

I have closed the marching percussion chapter of my life, well, at least the playing aspect. I still want to see DCI shows and all that.
