hey guys, im in sydney australia and was going to be getting a new visions kit, but the drum shop (billy hyde) tell me i cant get an 8" tom for a vision.... any body know anything or how i could get 1, they are listed on the pearl catalog

but the head of the drum department went to the pearl thing,. they go round australia introducing their new gear to the retailers, telling them all about it so they can help the customer,.. and he said i cant get an 8"... he must be in some way mistaken coz pearl has 8" toms on there price list,. how could i get 1 for an export and not vision,.. stupid

I don't know how long it takes for Pearl Australia to order individual components, but you can get a 8x7 Vision tom in VLX or VSX.

Billy Hydes have alot of staff , and there are many ones who just don't have the experience , energy or will , so they are either ignorant or reluctant to check up on stocklists and go through books , make calls and stuff for you.
