That´s cool, if I would live there I would get it, but I´m german;)

In germany there was a great deal:
Sessions sbx for 499€, normaly when they weren´t discounted, the price was about 1300€ and now you can get the discounted ones for 900€

I think you just have to wait ALWAYS for a while till you get a great deal,I would get the visions for a gig set

maybe its because the new ones that will be coming out will have better colors and equipment?

actually, al mentioned that there was something in the works for hardware/equipment.

(maybe something like the iss thats compatible with 2.3 mm hoops, which would be a welcome change.)

Nothing has been announced yet. It's just ideas that Pearl has for new colors, and features and such.

Correct. We have product upgrades planned for 2008, but you won't officially hear about it until January 17th, 2008 at NAMM. I mentioned in one of the threads regarding new Vision colors that PMI had approved some new finishes for Vision, but that was all I mentioned.

[Jedi mind trick]No Al, you told us everything. You might as well repost it here, since we already know.[/Jedi mind trick]

*waves hand across thread*

It was worth a shot, right?

Be-bop, to answer your post from another thread. I purchased a shell pack, no hardware. I never even looked at any of the stands. Is there an issue? I have a bunch of hardware on my rack, Gibraltar & Tama, that's seen better days. I am going to start replacing it soon. I was going to go all Pearl, what's up?

Each section of the cymbal stands I have turn at the recievers. Even when tightened as much as possible.
They have stop locks for them now and I'm supposed to recieve as soon as Al gets them.
There is nothing to worry about because, as usual, Pearl has taken care of it.
The 900 series is a good looking, sturdy series except for that small oversight.

Was this the same deal that can be found online for $899? Was the $400 for VLX or VSX? WITH hardware or without? Dang, maybe I need to make it down to GC quick!
