Well, as promised, here are the pics of my new gear.
1.) Pearl Eliminator Belt Drive Double Pedal: sooooooo sick!!!! i recommend this pedal to anyone, hands down best i've ever played. As you can see I'm using the red cams, and they feel great if you play heel up. I prefer to use IC felt beaters instead of the Pearl ones that came with it, I like the feel of the lighter beaters.
2.) Pearl S-2000 Snare Stand: Um let's see... simply amazing. Best piece of hardware Pearl has ever created, hands down!!! Love the new basket design with the adjustable arms, as you can see I use it for my 10" popcorn snare which I cant do with a regular snare stand. GET IT!!!
3.) Protection Racket Drum Bags: WOWWWW!!!! Very thickly padded with sheep skin-like lining, heavy duty handles and zippers. You could drop these bags from the roof with the drums in them and they would be safe and sound. Incredible bags, wouldn't trust any other kind of soft case. I just got bags for my "travel" version of my kit, which is a 5-piece, consisting of 10 14 and 16 toms with a 22 bass.
I also threw in some pics of my "newest" setup. I tried to bring everything closer together to make it more comfortable to me, such as lowering the crashes, moving the floor toms closer to the bass drum, and moving the hi hat closer. Everything's feeling great on the kit now. Enjoy the driver seat pics as well!!!! (sorry couldn't fit the whole thing in the frame in those...)
