Looks great although I wish they put a little more black into the fade. Just personal taste. This fade has always been my second favorite fade next to the titanium fade on the tama SS. Actualy I think maybe 3rd, the amber fade export with black hardware was the ultimate drum pr0n. Do you play with a group or alone? Did you have a different kit before and how does the vision compare in terms on tom mounts and sound?

Yes, at first I was a little dissapointed with the red part of the fade. It is more orange"ish" than red. Its grown on me though. If I bought another vision, I think I would get the natural finish.

I play with a group called WYLDER. Its a dance party band. The sound guys rave over the sound of them. www.wylderrocks.com

I think this kit would rank a close second to my favorite kit Sonor Force 3001 in piano black lacquer. That kit was rediculous sounding!! It was birch/basswood and the lacquer finish was TOP NOTCH.

The Pearls are wonderful though. Its funny, I just bought a set of Yamaha stage custom advantage in cranberry red fade lacquer to practice on. The finish is nowhere near the visions. The hardware is nice, but single braced. There is no foot plate on the foot pedal like on the visions. There are no rubber isolators between the lugs and wood shell or on the lugs to hoops on the bass drum.

Wylde, beautiful kit! I almost went with that color before I chose a wrap. I gig alot and wouldn't have been able to live with myself if I would have f**** it up! Check out pics of my Visions on one the earlier threads. When do we all start a Visions Battallion, like the Squadron?

When my girlfriend gets pregnant, I hope a nice Pearl drum kit comes out 9 months later. Now that would be cool. I would proudly call them "My Babies"

Hey 24 k Gold.....................May I suggest getting a vasectomy and then adpoting a Pearl Vision kit, then instead of diapers you will only have to change heads on occasion!!

I've allways preferred drums to babies. Puppies are a closer match. Maybe your ole lady can whelp a litter. Beautiful Kit!!! Love the Vision!!! Rep of course!!!
