Just picked these up on Friday. Sorry, I won't have any pictures of the kit set up, as all my hardware is in storage right now, and I have no place to set them up (right now they're stacked in the middle of my room, I have zero floor space).
Got this shell pack off of ebay for $450. It was 2 hours away, so I picked them up myself and saved $100 on shipping. Out of the 2 or 3 that were available on ebay, this was the only one priced below buying new, and it also happened to be the one exactly in the sizes and finish I wanted!!! It's the smaller fusion pack, with 20" bass:
18" x 20" bass drum
8" x 10" mounted tom
9" x 12" mounted tom
14" x 14" floor tom
The finish is really beautiful, I hope the pictures do it some justice. The bass drum is especially beautiful. I'm probably going to try to get ahold of a white bass reso, but for now, this will do. Will eventually replace tom holder on bass with a covering plate, and attach tom holders (if I decide to use them) to cymbal stands.

Holy crap. That looks fantastic! At first glance at the first picture, i thought it was a Masters tom. And for only $450. Man i want a Visions. Tell us how they sound when you get them up.

man i might just get a vision just to gig with.im only gonna end up triggering it here anyway cause most places have rubbish pas/sound guys who cant make drum sound good.

the kick drums in particular are phat, beefy and punchy sounding right out of the box with no muffling even with the stock heads. Your vision kick will sound insane with triggers.
The floor toms sound deep and phat with great tonal clarity because they are 8-ply vs the 6-ply tom which are clean and articulate with a focused attack with great highs and mids. I couldn't believe how great they sound even with the stock protone heads on them.
I played one yesterday at Guitar Center and it blew me away!!! The stock Protones on those babies are 2 ply and sound fantastic!!! I love the natural finish that you picked as well! You are a lucky lucky man!!!

yea i know, ive always said id never trigger but to be honest ive heard how rubbish kits sound around the places to gig here in scotland, well mainly edinburgh/fife *east side of scotland* kits sound terrible and it just makes the job a whole lot easier, though if i do get to a place where the sound guy and pa is decent then obv id mic it up.
*edit just noticed 10 lugs on a 20" bass drum :O SCHWEEEETT*

Congratulations on your new kit. I would really like to hear a Vision's kit in person. weldrum`s kit sounded great on his video of his new Vision's kit.

It's times like these when I wish I would've gotten Clear Birch instead of Amber Fade.

It's hard to go wrong (IMO) with a natural finish. It just looks clean and classy.

Nice!
But it's still no Session :(
You are right - it would look awesome with a white reso.

no its not because the badges say otherwise ;)
actually al commented in another thread that an sbx and visions played next to eachother sound pretty much equal. He even mentioned that the floor toms were punchier.
I prefer the look of the visions shell hardware as well. and this finish is just as nice as ANY sessions finish.

awesome. thats what i thought it was. i had the ergo rider before i sold my kit, but the threads stripped out or something, they would no longer let me adjust the chair up and down. probably just a defect on mine, becasue i had used others that had no problems. I 'd go back to using them though!
anyways, back to the kit, the resemblance between this and iron's brx is stunning! maybe this is one of the reasons there was no need for an sbx anymore? despite the cost saving basswood plies, we have a kit that is almost identical in sound plus features killer hardware? (something the sessions lacked.)

Are you talking about ironcobra's kit? That was his BRX in natural birch that he was showing to compare the two finishes.

that kit looks awesome, Pearl did a really good job with the Vision series, and the Natural finish is definatly the best choice.
