Vision VSX (problems with wrap?)

Has anyone else noticed the wraps seperating from the outer ply? There were 2 Vision sets at GC and both of them had the same issue. I've never owned a Pearl wrapped set, so maybe it's just the way they apply theirs or something. It's hard to describe without seeing it. It's like the wrap was just slightly oversized for the shell and the only thing holding it down was the hardware.

Probably bubble issue from taping the wrap.....

I specifically checked out the wrap on the VSX at GC. It was applied nicely, unlike my old Forum.

I dunno? I was there again today. There's some definite wiggle room between the wrap and the shell. Especially on the bass drums. If there was only one set on the floor I probally would've just figured it was a defect. The fact that they have two sets with the same issue suggests otherwise.

I got a question...the only difference from the VSX and the VLX are the colors and the VSX has a wrap and the VLX has a gloss right?

The only difference is the finish. The VSX are wraps, the VLX are lacquer.
