What are the Vision bass drum hoops made of? Birch? Basswood? Both?

Seriously...it doesn't affect anything...its probably the same wood as the rest of the drums though.

The Hoops are Birch (no basswood).

I would imagine that they are birch, because basswood is not as strong. Just a guess.

Pearl make bass drum hoops out of poplar, and that's softer than basswood.
