Not sure on vision pricing but thats gotta be a good deal.

It's average. Once you buy the hardware, it's the same price as massmusic, etc.

They're $899 at massmusic, and you get $100 mass cash with your buy. I'm also surprised at the price especially considering the quality of the new 900 hardware.

Yeah there's nothing significant about the price of that one on Ebay. I'm mainly impressed on the price and quality of the hardware that comes with them (on sets with hardware).

And yeah, 2.3mm hoops and optimounts would've been perfect. Even if we had to pay a little more.

Hmmm...i dunno it may not be that much bs as you think;

personally, i don't think they could have swung both optis and superhoops; would you feel ok paying for a kit that is even closer to the 1k mark or even exceeds it, knowing you can get other kits that have pure birch shells, or even maple? This is a way to keep costs low, and still have a great kit.

Don't get me wrong, i wish they had em too, but then we'd be complaining more about finishes and ALL birch shells and the like.

I think if i get a kit, the hoops will the the first thing to go. I can deal with the iss for awhile at least.
