At the GC. they were quite impressive! They sound great, (even with the poor tune job) And the best part was the price!! $599 for a nice 5 piece!

Are you sure it was only $599? It didn't come with hardware did it?

Sam Ash has them for the same price. That's for the VSX (wrap) shell pack without any hardware.

I think that that is about the same price that I got my 5-piece Tama Superstar kit for. Or it could be a little less; can't really remember.

Since the 800 pack is around $250, and you can get Vision shellpacks for $600, and you can get a Vision with hardware for $900, I'm guessing the 900 series hardware pack is around $300.

thats the worst mathematics ive ever heard
The Dorian

Why? Vision with hardware = $900. Shellpack = $600. $900-$600= $300. And it's only an estimate. But what's wrong with the math?

Because in your post, you didn't put that it would be 300...you concluded that it would still be $900! Its ok common mistake ( i hope!...) :D

I believe at the Guitar Center it was $250. for the 900 Hardware, and all total around $900. for the Vision VSX Wrap with hardwarde in a BEAUTIFUL Strata Blue. Not to bad, as that 900 hardware really looks good. :)

Why would you pay $900 to purchase the hardware and VSX shell pack seperate. The list price for a 5pc VSX w/ hw is $840.
Or am I not understanding your math?

maybe he was thinking of the VLX which does go for $899 with HW.

Yeah I'm talking about the VLX.

jeremiah was responding to THIS post, which IS talking about the vsx, not vlx, so yes, it makes no sense to pay 900 for a vsx shell pack and then hardware speratately for 900 bucks. If it was a vlx, ok same difference. But its a waist of 60 bucks! (couple new heads anyone?)
