I do.... There is not. :D
These are shell pack kits without modifications.
You can always use the BBC-1 making plate.

Or a Tama Superstar if you get a 24" kick, or any DDrum Dominion set. Or a Pacific MXR, or a Pacific CXR. Or a Pacific FXR, but they're discontinued. I've seen RMV sets in this price range with a virgin bass. So yeah. Possibly even more.

1. There's a sticky on making them in the hardware section. Or ask your Pearl dealer.
2. Yes.

The Vision kits are the only kits made in our new China factory currently. They've confirmed that for the time being, that there will not be any modificaitons made to the Vision series. This includes drum sizes, and or modifications to the bass drums. The bass drums will all come standard with the BB-3 mount.
Looks like their will be a run on the BBC-1 masking plates.... :D

Masking plate. So that when you take the ugly tom mount off the kick drum, you're not left with two big holes and 4 screw holes.

You can buy a BBC-1 Pearl Masking Plate that covers the hole left when you remove the BB3 tom mount. It basically makes your kick a virgin (no tom mounts).

Ahh.. I see. I figured something like this was around. Guess I wont be mounting a Canadian flag from my kick anymore :D

Who would want a virgin kick anyways. Mostly everyone uses some form of kick drum muffling anyways, so the tom arms just add to the muffling. I just don't see a need, but if thats what floats your boat......

But if you have a rack or like hanging your toms off stands then theirs almost no need for a tom mount, however if you gig with a smaller setup than usual its always saves time using a mount. But I also love the look of a smooth bass drum with no mounts sticking out.

I don't. I found removing the bracket from my kick made it sound slightly longer sustain. I'd love to take the bracket off my tom.

Hey al i just bought a new vision kit in champagne sparkle. Got it home and did not use the tom mounts on the bass and i don't like the mounts sitting there with no drums on them. I ordered the bb1 masking plate for my kit. It will fit the vision kit i have won't it?
