So how much more are these drums than the export?

I was just looking through a Musicians Friend catalog. They appear to be the same price as the EXR and ELX used to be.

on musiciansfriend looks like the VSX (wrapped?) is $840 and the VLX (lacquered?) is $900. so more expensive than exports for sure.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned massmusic. Even though their prices are the same, they offer Free gear of either 1.) D1000 Roadster drum throne or 2.) $100 gift card.

Plus the kit is already eligible for free shipping... so that makes it better!

EDIT: I just realized that ya'll are comparing it to the exports. Here's a visual, plus I'm bored at the moment. I'll just go with the gift card choice (usually what someone would choose unless they're looking for a double pedal or throne)

EX: $779-$100 gift card = $679
ERX: $700-no gift card deal = $700
ELX: $750- no gift card deal = $750
ECX: $959 (lowest priced one) - $100 gift card = $859

Vision (wrap): $840-$100 gift card = $740
Vision (laquer): $900-$100 gift card = $800


All of the models listed come with a complete set of hardware... so that's good. The Exports are cheaper than the Visions but not by a drastic amount.
