For many many years Rosewood has been the number one choice of the finest wood musical instruments made and Masterworks is no exception. These snare drums feature a thin 6-ply 5mm Rosewood shell that produces a focused full-bodied tone that speaks well at all dynamic levels
In Comparison to Maple, Rosewood sounds slightly dryer with a little more low-end resonance and is ideal for recording. It comes standard with tube lugs, die cast hoops and stainless steel tension rods for the ultimate in precise fine tuning action. All the hardware is Gold plated for an elegant classic vibe.
