Sliding!!!

i just got a pearl p-100tw last last friday, and im telling you.. its a very good pedal for its price range!! its very smooth. i play on a rag.. a very thick rag.. and whenever i play double pedal, the left pedal slides and when i step down i can feel it touching the hi-hat stand. can i do something to not let it slip/

Pearl offers spikes that can be attached to most slave pedals on a double bass pedal setup. I'll look for the part no. for you.

fredz,
an easy and cheap alternative to the ps-85 is to get velcro. just attach it to both your rug and your pedal. it should be enough to hold the pedals in place. if not, then you may need to go with the pedal stabilizer option.

Obviously the stabilizer is best, but the velcro is a good cheap fix for this problem. Like elmo said you can put half on the pedal and half on the rug. If you put the "hook" half of the velcro on the pedal it will usuall hold to the rug by itself. That's how mine is and it never moves, in fact it's hard to move even when I want it to.
