Hey guys, ive been in the studio again tracks not avaliable yet awaiting our singer to return! The first time i went in the studio we didnt use a click tracks being all new to everything.
This time we decided we had to but bassically i had many problems behing able to hear the click through the cans, and the louder i made it the more my ears hurt. I was wondering what headphones you would recommend.
Also my drum mics are pretty cheap samson ones, and i was thinking of upgrading for next time, any thoughts AKG Drum mic Set Plus???
Ive heard Ross Robinson doesnt use click tracks, personally i hate the damn things but i guess i have to persever with it. I was wondering what your views are on this, the studio were in is not that fantastic its mainly used for tv but were making do with sadie v5.5.

Old tracks are here :

I think it must be a scam :p
Sorry if the click track business has been discussed before.

Lol see my sig :)
I would try some sort of in-ear monitor then ear muffs... Lets you hear your drums fine then the click dosn't have to be loud at all... Heck even Ipod headphones would work for that.
