Well, theres about 100000 different solutions but in a nutshell, if you want be able to do any kind of post editing you'll need a multi track computer based interface with software...if you wanta go cheap and just get everything in the mix (wile loosing quality, because you wont have any plug-ins like compressors gates and jive, cuz you don't have any live equipment, asking the question you did) get a mixing board...pan everything in the middle and come out of the left stereo out on the board convert from 1/4 inch plug to 1/8 plug and go into the recording mic input on you comp. and use the crappy recording program that comes with your comp.
