Yamaha DTXPress III strange problem

i have a used yamaha dtxpress III kit that worked great for about 8 months now im getting a wierd error message. it says: "ERROR: Bulk Protected". i cannot get that message off the screen no matter what i press. i cant see anything but that message, so i cant change kits, play to songs, use the click, or anything. its bugging the crap outta me. has this ever happened to anybody?

I've used a DTX III before and I've had problems like that too, I can't remember if it was bulk protected or not, but the problem was the internal battery was knocked out of place and wasn't connected all the time, get that checked and fixed and it should be good to go.

I think the problem is that they are Yamaha electronic drums. Should have gone Roland. ;) In all seriousness though, Yamaha is actually quite helpful with their tech support. Call whichever tech is closest to you, and they should be able to give you the info you require....
