So i've posted these recordings before here, but it seemed appropriate to repost here. I used these mics in conjunction with a 8 channle peavey board. I ran a stereo mix to the line in on my computer and recorded with Cubase. The song on mypsace is the most recent recording and the best mix i've gotten so far. Enjoy and let me know what ya think.

Great job man! My comment though is that every thing sounds a little flat, those drums could use more volume too. I'd turn the snare and kick up in the mix.

yeah you need to EQ the tracks a little better, they are very flat. you really need to record seperate channels. but i guess its pretty good for only having your stereo outs

The mix does sound kind of flat, it could use some beef. Still pretty good though!

Thats a great mix for using Stereo Outs.

Most of you guys are thinking that he used an interface to get each mic onto a seperate track.

I don't think he did...so for NOT doing that....it sounds good for the way you've recorded it.

Um I didn't think he had an interface, I knew what he meant when he said using his stereo outs, so he only got 1 stereo track. I can't speak for the other two before me though.

you're exactly right, i run the mics to a 8track board, mix the drums. shoot that mix from the tape out to the line in on my computer and recording. so the most i can do is premix my drums, record, reevaluate.. etc. but thanks for the feedback!!

Thats how I record. Its hard, dosent' sound as well, but its way cheaper than buying an interface.as

wow that mixing was really good. i could never do that. my only suggestion is to turn up the snare and bass drum.

Yeah man. I have to use an 8 track board to stereo too. My mics aren't as nice as yours though... I really wish I could get that quality.
