Pearl's Championship FFX Snare drum is without a doubt the world's ultimate marching machine. No other snare drum in the world offers 100% aged Maple shell with awe inspiring tone, blended with a technologically advanced, player friendly free-floating design that allows the shell complete freedom of any mounted hardware. This allows the lugs, mounting bracket, and strainer to be mounted to the floating tension post-creating unrestricted shell resonance and optimum projection. Our aircraft quality Aluminum alloy edge ring and rims are designed to easily withstand today's super high tensioning while remaining extremely light in weight. Together with our 6mm casehardened tension bolts you can achieve the highest tension possible without failure, performance after performance. The Rod guards and Snare guards prevent accidental loss of tension bolts, while protecting the drum while not in use.
The FFX-1311 weighs in at 14.0 pounds and FFX-1412 at 16.9 pounds to make these drums suitable for all age brackets. And did I mention our drums feature a 3-year Warranty on shells and hardware - which happens to be the best in the industry!
All FFX drums come in your choice of 4 standard covered finishes that include; #33 Pure White; #46 Midnight Black; # 92 Aurora Blue and #94 Candy Apple.
