i have a question

hey i just bought a set of bongos. they came with some gel looking stuff. what is this for? sorry if this is a stupid question but i'm new to the bongo scene. thanks!

The gel is lug lube, so if you start hearing some "squeekin" as your tuning, or if tuning becomes difficult, spread some of that gel on the threads and you'll be jammin.
