Pearl clothing

simply no dealer sells Pearl clothing.

For me as a european customer it is simply not possible to get a simple T shirt with a Pearl logo as shown on your webside.

The company Pearl, DO SOMETHING FOR US !

And no, i don't buy over your webside and fill in orderforms and so on. :confused:

Or must i start a dealership to get my stuff?

Same problem in England ! I have also E Mailed Pearl USA to check out shipping charges of a shirt to England, that was a few weeks ago , still no further info from them as yet ! :mad:

its not just pearl who only sell to the USA

sadly i have been trying to get hold of merchandise from all my favourite manufacturers, but none of them want to ship to the UK. I emailed Zildjian and Sabian, but Sabian only offer an order form which you have to fill in and Zildjian completely ignored me.

So i thought.... what about emailing some dealers in the US.. so i did, i emailed 4 different dealers who had decent online / mail order services, guess what happened? ....... you guessed it, they ignored me.

Isnt it time that all of these manufacturers offered the chance for Europe to buy their goodies?

I am sure if u combined the amount of drummers through out europe it would out weigh the amount in the US, thus doubling their sales.

At least pearl offer a decent forum :P ( so i can moan on it )

yes they have a forum, and the reactions or actions in this forum from pearl are as great as you got from Zildjian! ( that's less then ZERO ).

when i phoned yamaha-kemble about zildjian merchandise they stock half of what they do in the US and said that any UK dealer will be able to order it

can i find one a dealer who will.... no!

You can get Zildjian T shirts from Wembley Drum Centre or Footes Music (London) They may also do Sabian too ! They do not do PEARL

btw just for the record, Yamaha drums are exactly the same, with the classic line of....

" we are sorry, but we can only ship to the U.S or canada"

I want to know where I can get some Pearl stickers. I see DW , Zildjian, and Sabian stickers on cars all of the time. But I want Pearl stickers for my truck. I'm not a big 'sticker-on-your-car' kind of person but I would make an exception in this case. It'll be the only one on my truck.

we copy/paste the logo to our own shirt and let it print at the local T Shirt store !!!! Maybe now someone wakes up around here. Not allowed.....who cares this subject at Pearl?

Pearl at the front and Paiste at the back off the shirt, let's make it a EUROPE thang and a big middle finger to Pearl overseas!

Another reason why it sucks to live in UK. ( Waves angry fist at musiciansfriend.com ) American companies DO sell their clothing over here, just not as much of it as you would expect. You just have to know where to look. Below are the examples of what i mean

P.S. A tip to the uK members. Sign up with B'ham drum centre for their catalogue and whenever theres a sale on, they will send you details of EVERYTHING that is in the sale. Thats where i got my Sabian t-shirt from! I remember when they moved permises, they sent me a four page price list of all the left over expansion drums and there were ones from the BLX days and dirt cheap prices!

been following this forum for about a few days and - sad enough - i can comfirm that the german pearl-support (when it comes to merchandising stuff) is really crappy!
appears to me that pearl refuses to send and deliver to "old europe" (nah, just kidding ;) )

The Pearl factory has moved from UK to the netherlands :( no offence to the netherlands but when i got back from amsterdam i still had enough money to buy my chad smith snare and if i'd have bought it from amsterdam i would not have to wait a MONTH to get it! :mad: How can they not have one of the most popular snares (as i have been told) in stock!

I love pearl and everything about them but yeah they should definately help us European drummers out as they do US!

And yes i really would like to get a pearl t-shirt but looks like i'm gonna have make one and i'm sorry but if pearl don't like it then they can go **** themselves!

yes, Pearl is located in the Netherlands now....and for me just around the corner. A distribution centre it is for dealers. It is not completely ready but they are working hard to get it done for europe. So keep up the good hopes we all have.

I used to live in the UK and I used to get a little magazine or something from Zildjian every few months and you could always order stuff from it. Try and get on their mailing list.

I did have a Pearl T-shirt and hat (even my bass player got a Pearl hat from somewhere!) but I think an ex-girlfriend or something ended up with them - probably for the best as I think I am a bit bigger than I was when I was 15.

Anyway, you may get lucky with Zildjian not so sure about Pearl. Maybe I should start smuggling gear into the UK on my frequent return trips (only joking customs folks ;) )

We should get a petition going, we could get a good list of people i reckon even if it's just for buying clothes and having them shipped over, i can get over the whole competitions thing, even though they have no reason not to let us enter if we pay the shipping costs!

UK People - I feel sure I saw Pearl clothing in DrumWright once, and I definately got my hat and t-shirt from Kingfisher Music in Frimley or somewhere near there (but it was about 10 years ago)
