I just bought a new axis a longboard double pedal in classic black. First let me say this pedal is amazing! I do have one problem with it though. I set the slave pedal height to the same as the main pedal, but as I play the pedal gets lower and lower until it eventually starts to hit the hoop clamp assembly. I figure this must be the center adjustment on the drive shaft, so I've re-adjusted and re-tightened it countless times, but now matter how tight I make it, it just keeps slipping as I play. Is there something I'm overlooking, or something I can do to stop this? Please let me know. Thank you guys in advance.

hmmmmm strange i must say! have you made sure all other bolts and screws are tight and such? i usually forget to tighten something.

I had the same problem.
All you do is tighten the two Set Screws, found at the back of the No. One (the beater holder) of the pedal slipping.
Here's a pic:

thanks for the guys. I went through and made sure everything was tight on the pedal. I actually found the screw on the part of the drive shaft that connects to the axle was slightly loose. I also tightened the bolts on no. one and it seems to be holding up now. I have to really play hard and long to make sure, but it looks like that did the trick. Thanks again.

if "megahertz" suggestion worked then this will be useless, but i thought i might try anyway. In the picture you see the red circle around the piece that keeps the footboard height in place. Is that the piece that is slipping? If so, take the piece completley out, take a metal file, and grind down (only slightly) the end of the piece to make sure it is flat, instead of diagonal or some other direction (sometimes they fail to do this when assembled i guess). this way it will rest flatter on the metal bar on the "1" piece and wont slip. I had this problem, called axis, and i talked to the inventor himself and he told me to do this. And since, it has never slipped. If this isnt the piece you were having trouble with then ignore this post, and/or if this doesnt make sense (im not the best at explaining) then tell me so and i will be happy to try harder lol. i hope this helped.

Thank you very much for the help. I actually don't currently have the pedal though. I tried tightening everything down, and it seemed to work, but then as I played them it started right back up again. I tried getting ahold of axis, and never got a response from anyone there. So finally I had enough, called sam ash where I ordered them, and they agreed to exchange them for another pair. They told me the pedals would be shipped out to me that week. Two weeks went by and I didn't recieve anything so finally I called. They said they were backorder now and wouldn't be in untill the end of July (this was march mind you) . So I got angry that they never even called to let me know, and I cancelled my order. I haven't re-ordered them yet, because I'm a little low on cash right now, but a new pair will be coming soon enough.
