Does/How Does this mount attach to rope tuned drums like my djembe?

You would need to drill and install the PSMB01 mounting bracket. This bracket is standard on most brands congas, but we also include them on our timbales amd djembes. Its available as a part from your local Pearl retailer. The list price is $11.00.
