I'm happy you enjoy your Afro congas, but we have discontinued Afro for about 3 years now. Pearl brand name is the line that took over. There were some minor modifications and color changes to the hand drums, but for the most part they are the same.
We are considering adding those sizes to the Pearl line...

Are you also considering making mini-timbales, and or a different sized drumset timbale in a size other than a 13"? I would love to have these items!

at this time, we are not planning on adding mini-timbales. Our 13" Flat Timb is very popular, and in my opinion, the best sounding timbale option for a drumkit set-up.

Those are goods, now I know that Pearl also have Batas,I used to have a Pearl drum long time ago,but Ididn't know that the Corporation were so deep into African Percussion.A lot of kudos.I've been conducting Drum-Circle for Research and Advanced Percussion Structures(6 years)in to African,Cuban,Caribbean,Brazilian, and Afro-jazz-Latin-Jazz.I just finished another project with a local TV-Station.
