I bought it after the bearing edges on my old snare went and was just wondering if anyone knows anything about it? Its pretty heavy and sounds awesome

Its pretty big as well at 14x8

Thought i'd check in here too just in case this was vintage

i had the 14x6 version of that, mid 80's i believe, pro quality drum and awesome sounding. sold mine for £75 on the bay

haha cool. This is the second time this has happened to me, i picked up a ludwig kit for £200 and it turns out its a mid 80's model as well

14x8 I presume? The 80's Pearl Japan part is correct. They also made a Maple version as well. Great drums if you can find them. They're hard to track down.
