This is a beautiful snare with a solid birch shell and beech reinforcement rings. i found this in a stoor cupboard in a sorry state so being the loving person that i am to drums, i returned it to its former glory! I had to buy new hoops, snare wires and tension bolts (damn old bolts). And oh, it was worth it.

I have the same drum in red swirl,
amazingly sensitive with the real vintage birch sound,. love it !

thanks, guys. im just having problem tuning it, i think its the thick emp x. recon i should get a coated emporer?

I'm pretty sure i have the same snare in a creamy white in near perfect condition......i say "i think" because i'm not sure if its the exact snare, but the lugs, throwoff and shell looks exactly the same.
