I was told to post pics in here from the post "Look in here for a good laugh" in the Show us your kits section. What do you guys think? Good project huh? This is the set I play for my church youth praise band. I think it would make an awesome set with some upgrades and some TLC. See the thread I originally posted for some comments by other members here. (http://www.pearldrummersforum.com/showthread.php?t=108408)

Yeah, Bonzonerd and I were just discussing that. Is it a Swingerland?

There are no re-rings, the 20" kick is a 6 lug, & the inside of the shells look like luan. I don't even believe these are American drums, but an older import from Japan. I wouldn't sink tooo much into these.

Those could actually have been made by Pearl or Tama (Star), under a variety of names.

Not by us..I can tell by the lugs..Maybe Star, but judging by the covering, I dont think its them either...

Interesting!

I always thought it was Pearl who manufactured the Sears drums ( your choice of red or blue sparkle... )

I have a couple of lugs in my junk bin that look like they may be a match for those. They are super cheap! Instead of a insert nut & spring they just have a little threaded plate that slides into a slot in the lug.

That's not true, there are at least 17. You certainly overlooked that one in particular.
